Santa Cruz Chefs' Dinner. Thursday, September 18 at Holy Cross Annex. Champagne reception and silent auction begin at 6:00pm, dinner begins at 7:15pm. Black tie optional. Oswald's chef/owner Damani Thomas, along with five other local chefs, offers six gourmet courses paired with select wines from local vintners, shared in good company, for the purpose of providing healthy food to local children in need. All sales and event contributions benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank Food For Children program and are graciously matched by the Helen and Will Webster Foundation. Cabrillo Music Festival's Music in the Mountains. Thursday, August 7, 6:30pm-9:30pm at Nestldown. Enjoy wine and food tastings featuring creations from Oswald's Damani Thomas along with a chamber music concert in a spectacular mountain retreat setting. Tickets are $175. Route 1 Farms Dinner. Sunday, June 29 at Rancho del Oso (Waddell Creek). Welcome reception at 4:00pm followed by a half-mile hike led by farmer and owner of Route 1 Farms, Jeff Larkey. The tour will end at the dinner site beneath the fruit orchard. The four-course dinner from guest chef Damani Thomas of Oswald will be served family style. Vegetarian options available.
